This week the guys discuss Logitech’s acquisition of Blue microphones, the AAF and the NFL, MoviePass, and a great discussion on Thor’s power vs other Marvel characters.
The computer accessories maker said on last Monday that it will acquire Blue Microphones for roughly $117 million in cash. The deal is expected to close by the end of August.
In a span of just 21 years, a near-bankrupt computer maker evolved into the most valuable publicly traded company in the United States, pushing the tech industry away from big, bulky machines and producing some of the world’s most popular consumer products, like the iMac, the iPod and the iPhone. Apple’s products have reshaped swaths of everyday life.
The Tesla experience is bound to get a whole lot more fun. In a series of Twitter updates on Wednesday, Elon Musk announced that some classic Atari games would be coming as Easter Eggs in Tesla’s Software V9.0 release, which is expected to be rolled out in September of this year and accessible to Model S, Model X, and Model 3 vehicles.
Players who join the Alliance of American Football will sign standard three-year, $250,000 deals. But they will be able to sign with the NFL, if the NFL comes calling.
After a couple of outages because MoviePass ran out of money they are now going to try and raise prices and limit the viewing availability of blockbuster releases. The History of MoviePass is an interesting one and you can definitely see where missteps were taken.
Who in the MCU is as strong or stronger than Thor?
8Bitdo N30 2.4G Wireless Gamepad for NES Classic Edition
As Dave found out last week the cords on the NES Classic Console are very short, too short to use in a living room. You could buy cord extensions but this is 2018, no one should have to be tethered to the system they are playing. 8Bitdo to the rescue! This awesome controller brings modern convenience to a classic gaming experience!

This Week’s Track – “Burning Sun” by The Clays
The Clays is a four piece rock band from Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, England. They formed sometime in 2013 but the music of the band started well before that. Long-time friends, Adam and Mart began collaborating on songwriting many years ago. Sitting down with acoustic guitars, Ad quickly took up the mantle of lead vocals and lead guitar while Mart supplied backing and rhythm. They worked hard on perfecting the melodies and harmonies before deciding they need to take it to the next level.
